This recipe comes from my favorite baking cookbook "The Amish Cook's Baking Book". I LOVE LOVE this cookbook! It is a very simple and quick recipe.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup veg. oil
4 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Preheat the oven to 350 deg. Grease a 9x13 pan. In a large bowl combine all ingredients and mix until the batter is well blended and creamy.
Pour into the prepared pan. Bake for about 30 min. or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool and ENJOY!
